You have probably heard about The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, well they need your help to continue their vital work.
Their Work
The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation provides funding to families of children with brain damage who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay, enabling them to purchase home respite care. The Foundation provides early intervention home respite to families with children up to the age of 4 with severe neuro-developmental delay and palliative conditions requiring extensive medical and nursing care at home.
The Problem
The Foundation, need to make up a €400,000 shortfall this year to run the service , the charity has been hit by the economic downturn and a reduction in its HSE grant.
The Solution
You basically...You can help sick children and their families by donating €5 to their Bringing Home campaign. You can see the people who are being taken care of by the campaign including Brigid Flangan from Louth, seen in the video above with her three-year-old son Richard who requires 24-hours-a-day care.
