Was this Rotterdam criminal the world's worst armed robber or was the pub's barman the world's best? We're not quite sure, but we're fascinated by this odd reaction by one pub to a masked gunman.

At 11pm in a Rotterdam pub named 'T Halve Maatje' last month, an armed robber entered the premises and demanded the barman empty the pub register. His reaction? "Get out of my pub!"

Perhaps it's because the pub was packed with sozzled revellers at that time of night, but the armed robber was even cheekily tapped on the shoulder by one patron, who sat back in his seat afterwards to enjoy his pint.

Astounded by how the customers were so completely uninterested in his presence, the barman walked over to the robber, who backed down and fled the pub. 2km later, he had been chased and successfully overpowered by three men from the pub.

So not only did they not care about the fact that he had a gun, they cared so little that they had no problem chasing after him too? Dutch courage indeed. Enjoy the clip above.
