Remember that singing marriage proposal on a packed train a few months back? We thought back then that it was the best proposal of the year - we were dead wrong.
That honour belongs to Timothy Tiah Ewe Tiam, the founder of an Asian Pacific advertising community called Nuffnang, who proposed to his beautiful fiancee Audrey Ooi Feng Ling, a Malaysian blogger, through the magic of Internet memes. Yes, Internet memes.
In the heartwarming clip below (which sadly features a rubbish soundtrack), Timmy stands outside a restaurant where Audrey is dining with her friends and holds up a series of signs that include the Social Awkward Penguin, Victory Baby and of course, the little Y U NO bald fella.
With seemingly incredible eyesight, Audrey reads the entire message and accepts the proposal in what must be the geekiest but perhaps greatest marriage proposal we've ever seen. Timmy is certainly doing well for himself now with his gorgeous fiancee and evidently, she was worth the effort of printing several meme-laden cue cards.
We wish the two the very best in their future together and our hat goes off to Timmy for teaching the world how to propose 'Like a boss'. Thanks to Mashable for the heads up.
