Video: Thai boxing fail – kick the bag, not the steel bar

We’re no experts on Thai boxing, but any advice we would give to someone setting up a homemade training environment is to keep a steel bar as far away from the bag as possible.

Of course this isn’t always possible, but we would recommend that hanging a bag from a rafter, or a bar that isn’t right next the bag at least. Unfortunately for this chap in Thailand – sure where else – he gives the bar some thump during his training workout. The sound of the bar after the impact gives you some idea of the whack his foot got, but he’ll know for next time.
