Team Hot Wheels stunt driver Tanner Foust yesterday broke the four-wheel ramp-to-ramp world record by launching 332 feet at the prestigious Indy 500. Here's a clip.
Despite a dramatic finish to one of the biggest races in American motorsport, it was Tanner's world record that left onlookers breathless, as the pre-race attempt eclipsed the previous record holder by 31 feet.
Foust said after the stunt: 'Any time you're breaking a world record, you're sort of inventing things along the way.'
Foust is the co-host of the US version of Top Gear and has starred as a stunt driver in films such as Iron Man 2 and The Dukes of Hazzard. Take a look at possibly the biggest moment of his career below:
