It takes plenty of balls to even attempt the type of penalty that Andrea Pirlo and Sergio Ramos have scored in the last few days, because while you look like a genius if you pull it off, you look like a complete clown if you don’t.

We hate to heap even more penalty-related criticism on Cristiano Ronaldo on today of all days, but he’s amongst the many that have been left with egg on their faces over the years.

Viral Clip: Quiz show host can't contain himself

Professionalism dictates that quiz show hosts must keep a reserved demeanour at all times, but we have a lot of sympathy for Bradley Walsh, who couldn’t hold in the laughter when the name Fanny Chmelar (pronounced shmeller) came up in a question during the ITV quiz show The Chase.

The whole clip is funny, but the hilarity escalates when one of the contestants inadvertently brings the word ‘ring’ into the equation about 50 seconds in.
