The weather was absolutely terrible in the Donbass Arena last night for Ukraine v France yet thankfully there was plenty of eye candy on show too.

Rather surprisingly, the new stadium doesn't have a detachable roof, so the game had to be abandoned early, leaving RTE twiddling their thumbs rather than switching to repeats of The Simpsons instead.

As you can see above and below, the pre-game shots of the game were handy in showing us plenty of shots of the photogenic Ukraine fans, before they later became drowned rats during the 2-0 defeat.

Now before you even get any ideas in your head, no we do not have any shots of the above duo after the heavens opened up. Blame Getty Images for that one, not us.
