It seems as if European men weren’t the only ones impressed by Rosanna Davison’s recent appearance in a European edition of Playboy. Hef himself was quite taken by the pictures, apparently.

So taken was Hef, in fact, that Rosanna will be the subject of a spread (no laughing at the back) in the US edition of the magazine next year, becoming the first Miss World to appear in the renowned men’s mag and following in the footsteps of the likes of Pamela Anderson and Elle ‘The Body’ Macpherson in the process.

"I still can't quite believe it,” Rosanna told The Sunday Independent.

"Playboy Germany were so happy with their European sales that Hugh Hefner got in touch and asked to meet me and to see whether I wanted to feature in the US magazine.

"He said he loved the idea of having the first Miss World to pose for Playboy in his American edition."

Rosanna’s pictures will feature in the April edition of Playboy next year, which could be the prelude to an extended stay Stateside as no doubt her profile will be given quite the boost as a result of her appearance.

We don’t want Rosanna to leave us or anything, but if she does end up heading to the States for a while, at least the new pictures will provide some consolation.

Providing they don’t look anything like this, of course...
