When the stars of the brand-spankin’, shiny, new Fast & Furious 6 film specifically requested that they be exclusively interviewed by JOE, we thought we’d happily oblige and so travelled over to London to meet them.By Eoghan Doherty
We caught up with the original and greatest stars of the Fast & Furious films, the genuinely charming Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.
They talk to us about Vin’s first paid gig as an actor (which just happened to be in Ireland), the “ride of the movie” (our money’s on Paul Walker) and Michelle is amused by our “Irish member.”
Not good for our self-confidence Michelle, thanks.
Following on from the events of Fast Five, the latest installment in the hugely-successful film franchise sees Dominic Toretto’s team (Vin Diesel) reunited after they learn that Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) may still be alive and working for evil heist leader, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).
Reluctantly teaming up with Hobbs (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson), the gang’s nemesis from the previous film, Dom’s best motor-head buds (Paul Walker, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, Jordanna Brewster, Elsa Pataky, Gal Gadot) vow to track their old leading lady down and, at the same time, try to put a stop to Shaw’s maniacal plans.
Oh, and there’s lots of sexy cars and ladies. What more do you want?
Keep an eye on the JOE.ie movie section all week, as we'll be putting up our exclusive Irish interviews with the rest of the Fast & Furious 6 stars in the build up to the film's release today, May 17.
