16 types of drunk people that you meet on a night out

Homelife

We all know the types.

We're strong advocates of using your head whenever you're having a few jars but having said this, there's always a few nights when everyone else just can't seem to keep up with your happy and drinking mood*. With this in mind, we've decided to take a look at the types of tipsy people that you might see on a night out. Do any of these ring true to you and your friends? *A nice way of saying that you're rat-arsed drunk. 1) Happy-go-lucky Everything is great. My friends are great. This song is great. This place is great. Another drink would be great. Life is great... until you wake up the next morning with a hangover of course. Smile Gif 2) In your own world Ever had a face-to-face conversation with someone that's been drinking and notice that their brain seems like it's a million miles away in a place called 'Drunkland'? It's either that or their mind is on garlic and cheese chips. Garlic Cheese Chips   3) The referee Some poor tipsy person will usually end up being assigned the role of 'voice of reason/referee' during some "interesting" discussions on a night out. Relationships/work/college etc usually pop-up but this person might also have to calm things down if a scrap looks like it's about to kick-off. What makes it harder for the referee is that they've had a few drinks also and just want to be left alone and enjoy the night. Don't Care 4) The Pinball The person in any club or bar that seems like they've got more energy than everyone else in the room combined.  It's very likely that by the time they leave, they'll have chatted with every person there while simultaneously never leaving the dancefloor. All that vodka and Red Bull must help. Dancing 5) Eyes closed, head down, feet moving While some lads are happy to show off their Justin Timberlake like moves, most lads have the same dance moves when drunk. Head down, eyes to the floor and fist in the air. It's a classic really. Ron Dancing 6) So many stories A few drinks and all of a sudden some people feel like they're talking for Ireland in the Olympics. Don't get me wrong, a bit of chat is fine but let someone else talk for a bit. BandCamp 7) Cracked in the head If there's craic to be had, this person will find it. They could be locked away in a convent and still manage to sort out an EDM rave with an endless supply of Buckfast. No one knows how this "stuff" happens around them, it just does. House Party 8) The memory man 'Do you remember that time when...', 'of course you know her, she was out with us that time...' do you not remember him? He played against us when...? As Roy Keane would say here, stop bringing up the past when you've had a few. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxnXfPICPHc 9) Man overboard The chances are that they've managed to fall-off or hit all of the following on a night out; stairs, stools, seats, steps and more. The bruises are like their own trophy for a night-out completed. Fall 10) The magician Now you see them, now you don't. Why is this? Well, these people usually vanish for about two hours in the pursuit of drink, a shift, a rotisserie chicken or god knows what else. LickeryKiss 11) Show-off Drink = increased confidence. Why this means your friend thinks it's ok to start randomly speaking French or doing some press-ups in the middle of the dancefloor is a mystery. The important thing is that it makes sense in THEIR head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5kqpn-CGGY 12) Sleepy They're not drunk, they're just really tired from staying up and drinking. Tyrion Drunk 13) Dopey Drink means that every story has to be explained to this person. Verrrrrryyy...sloooooowlllllllyyyyy. homermonkeygif 14) Grumpy I'm stuck in a Seven Dwarfs loop right now but there's no denying that a few drinks can cause some people to move over to the dark side. sadness 15) Hugs and high-fives We all have a friend that gets very touchy-feely when they're a bit tipsy. They just want a hug or a high-five. High Five 16) Making plans Drink just makes you more agreeable and positive. Most plans seem like they're the best idea ever, especially when they're made at 4am. Do they look the same in the morning though? shakesheadgif In a lot of ways, this clip absolutely nails it and remember guys, use your head and look after your friends when your out on the tiles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DcjL-89Yjk
