Lots of interesting information for anyone that’s getting hitched.

Given the litany of issues, tasks, and headaches that organising a wedding can involve, any bit of help is always welcome and on that note, it’s always handy to know who’s the best of the best in their respective fields.

If you’re looking for some guidance for your big day, the winners of the 2019 weddingsonline Awards should help. The awards were recently announced and in terms of venue, the overall venue winner was Ballymagarvey Village in Co. Meath.

As per the synopsis, the location is “steeped in history and set within acres of beautiful unspoilt countryside” and offers an “understated yet distinctive character makes our private estate feel like your very own home from home”.

This being said, there are a litany of categories for venues with certain accolades being allocated to individual regions and styles.

For example, Castle Venue of the Year was awarded to Lough Eske Castle, Donegal, and there were also awards given to the various provinces.

Hotel Venue of the Year in Leinster was the Castleknock Hotel, Dublin. Elsewhere, Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club (Cavan), Fernhill House (Cork), Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa (Sligo) were the winners in Ulster, Munster, and Connacht respectively.

The Overall Supplier of the Year winner was Audrey Cashman from Upstyle Junkie and the Overall Venue Co-Ordinator was won by Ben Sharkey from the Garryvoe Hotel.

The full list of winners can be found here and if you’re looking for someone to make your special day even more special, this is bound to help because there’s a plethora of categories included.
