Snapchat are adding some new features and they’re going to be very popular

How many of you will use this?

We fully understand that you've all got incredibly busy lives and that your time is precious. There are so many things to take your attention like study, work, relationships, TV, food, friends, drinks, sport, music and the dinosaur that's living next door but Snapchat has proven to be a welcome distraction for a lot of people and this new feature should free up or slow down your time, depending on how you use it. The app is introducing a new set of filters called “Speed Modifiers” for videos you shoot on iOS or Android which will basically allow you to add slow motion, fast-forward, or rewind effects to your video. Ever fancied doing a super slow-mo Baywatch run and sending it to your mates? Well now you can. All you have to do is swipe sideways after making a video and you’ll eventually see these options applied to your clip. This should be music to the ears of all you creative people because the concept of speeding up some clips, hopefully of your friends falling on their arse, can only be funny while I can already imagine an endless amount of craic coming from the slow motion features.

Snapchat is also adding 3D Touch capability for the iPhone 6S and 6S+ today. If you've updated your software then a single strong tap on your Snapchat icon will allow you to easily reach those options that allow you to send a snap or add a new friend.

How about that fast-forward option though? Cue an endless amount of Benny Hill gags.
