You never know what you'll see in Limerick...

Having spent a great number of years living in Limerick, there's no doubting that it's a remarkable city that was very unlucky to miss out on the 2020 European Capital of Culture. We've seen that camels like to go for a wander to experience all that the city has to offer and it seems like ponies have a similar idea. This video captured outside a bookies on Thomas Street in Limerick shows a pony early this morning waiting patiently for the doors to open. Perhaps he had the inside hoof scoop on some of the betting today and wanted to horse a few bob on the track to earn a quick buck.
