Ad of the Week: Toyota's 'bikini babe couch' shows why reinventing is epic

We'd all love to make some run of the mill, everyday items epic. To stoke our imaginations, Toyota has come up with bikini babe couches, pizza curtains and weight loss rain.

The advert is heralding the reinvention of the Toyota Camry, which they're obviously pretty proud of. The boys over in the marketing department thought it'd be a cracking sales idea to see what else they inject with epicness through reinvention.

The advert starts with a music playing low in the background under the usual deep-voiced narrator tells us that they 'decided to keep reinventing'.

A pretty boring start all told, but the good stuff quickly kicks in. Soo we are shown glimpses of such delights as a half naked couch of women, a policeman who gives backrubs instead of tickets, a no-pooping baby who's also a time machine and crime fighting plants.

The music builds to its crescendo at the end with the obvious last shot of the car itself. Now, if this doesn't stoke your imagination then nothing will. It's such a pity Toyota can't really make everything that epic.
