Video: Honda Civic driver has horrific crash on the Nurburgring

This is quite possibly the worst Nurburgring crash we've ever seen...

The Nurburgring is the ultimate playground for petrol heads everywhere, but every once in a while someone comes along and destroys a perfectly good car on the track. That’s exactly what happened at the weekend when one driver found himself having a date with the crash barrier.

It’s a pretty nasty crash, but thankfully the driver survived.

Here’s what the video’s uploader (who’s German, by the way) had to say on YouTube: “The driver was able to exit the vehicle itself. He was taken to hospital as a precaution. The accident happened because of a drive failure.

“This video serves as a warning to viewers who think they lean on the guardrail would be cool and tourist drivers who do not have necessary to significantly reduce their speed in a tilted yellow flag, and that they not only endanger themselves! [sic]”

It’s not the first time we’ve seen a big crash at the Nurburgring and we doubt it’ll be the last either...
