Video: Pretty conclusive evidence as to why you should wear a seatbelt

While nobody should really need to be told why to wear a seatbelt, this video provides conclusive evidence without the need for a single word to be said.

Like many of the dash-cam videos we’ve featured on the site of late this clip comes from Russia, where two fellas in the cab of one vehicle were in for a rude awakening only seconds after nearly running into the back of another vehicle on a busy road.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt, the passenger in the front seat wasn’t and when they felt the fairly significant impact of the vehicle behind, the guy not wearing the seatbelt was thrown all over the shop while his mate beside him stayed put.

In fairness to the two men involved, their reaction to the accident was an incredibly calm one, but needless to say the driver will belt-up the next time he gets behind the wheel. It goes without saying that he shouldn't have been on his phone either. Basically, don't drive like this guy.
