Kids these days seem to have a lot of spare time on their hands, so it looks like 'ramping' has become the new thing to. Can someone tell them it will ruin their cars?
Here we have a video of some American teenagers using a bump in the road as a launch ramp. The Suburban hoonsters take their family saloon and hit the bump at speed which launches the 2002 Dodge Stratus about half a foot into the air – which is pretty decent hang time for a family saloon like that.
However, there are so many good and valid reasons as to why you shouldn’t hoon your car like this.
Firstly, you’ll more than likely wreck the car before you come back to earth, or before you can fully apply the breaks. Secondly, it’s not a good idea to hoon around on suburban streets, because other people use those roads too (in case you thought they were just for you). Finally, you could easily die.
Still, it’s good that we have video of these American morons, just so you know what not to do. Just don't treat it as a training video.
