The X-Games is much more than skateboarding these days. There’s also amazing stuff like this.

We all had those Hot Wheels car tracks growing up. We would propel our model cars along the track and they would fly through the loop-the-loop before either hitting the cat or falling to pieces.

Now somebody has made our childhood fantasies a reality by building a six-story track that allows two rally cars to perform the trick in real life.

The video, from yesterday’s X Games in California, shows rally driver Tanner Foust and stuntman Greg Tracy both fly through the specially constructed loop before jumping a ramp.

If I had seen this when I was a kid I may have died with the excitement that such a thing could be done. I still might. Just amazing to watch. Enjoy.
