Video: Watch as Peugeot build their Pikes Peak 208 racer from the ground up

The Pikes Peak hill climb challenge is only two weeks away and the world champion rally driver, Sebastian Loeb, has been getting ready to take on the 'Race to the Clouds'. So here’s a cool time-lapse video showing how Peugeot built Loeb’s modified 208. Just like the Monaco GP or the Indy 500, the Pikes Peak hill climb stands out as one of the most iconic races in motor sport. The track is almost 20km long and features 156 turns. The elevation increases by 4,720 ft between the start and finish lines finishing at an altitude of 14,110ft. So, in order to take on the Pikes Peak challenge, cars need to have large spoilers in order to gain enough grip - hence the ridiculously oversized rear wing - and a driver who’s not afraid to push the car to it limits.
