Not everyone's a lone wolf and thank god for that.
Some of JOE's favourite movies feature duos that are much cooler, stronger and more hilarious than they ever could be as individuals.
Nature Valley Protein Bars, who combine seeds and nuts very, very well, asked us could we put together a list of our favourite movie duos.
When it comes to movie lists, JOE doesn't need to be asked twice.
10. Bill & Ted
Their combined brain power would barely equal a chimps, but we still love them nonetheless.
9. Batman & Robin
They'd be much higher on the list if it wasn't for those god-awful Joel Schumacher movies.
8. Sherlock Holmes & Dr. Watson
We love the tension between these two.
7. Harry & Lloyd
If you thought Bill and Ted were going to be the two biggest thickos on this list, then we're afraid you're wrong.
The trip these two took to Aspen in the original films will live long in the memory. The less said about the sequels, the better.
6. Woody & Buzz
Unlike Harry & Lloyd, Woody and Buzz have produced the goods sequel after sequel. A brilliant double act who definitely compliment each other... not literally, of course.
5. Withnail and Marwood
You won't see the flick Withnail and I on the same list as Bill and Ted too often. But these two are certainly worthy of their place. From city, to country and back again, the duo provided plenty of laughs and just a few tears.
4. Blues Brothers
The original Blues Brothers is one of the most re-watchable movies ever made. John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd's on screen chemistry has a lot to do with that.
3. Wayne & Garth
For JOE, this was the height of Mike Myer's comedy career. Combining with the equally funny, but more subtle Dana Carvey, saw him create movie gold.
2. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Paul Newman and Robert Redford combined as two bank/train robbers who were fleeing to Bolivia in this 1969 classic. Their performances were absolutely amazing and they would have gained the top-spot too, if it wasn't for this pair...
1. Riggs & Murtaugh
Both men have had decent careers since, but we'll always love them most for their performances as part of the Lethal Weapon franchise. This was back in a time when action movies were as gritty as they were silly.
Mel Gibson's turn as wild-card Martin Riggs combined perfectly with Danny Glover's straight-laced Roger Murtaugh. A perfect combination.

So there you have it, our favourite movie duos. Have we missed any of your favourites?
