If you haven’t already done so, give these a watch as soon as possible.
It seems as if TIME is having something of an Irish love-in at the moment.
Saoirse Ronan is on the cover of the new edition of the highly influential magazine having been named as one of ten ‘Next Generation Leaders’ ‘ready to take over their fields’.

If that wasn’t enough, TIME have named their top ten movies of 2016 so far, with two highly-acclaimed Irish movies making the list.
Sing Street, a feel-good musical set in 1980s Dublin, directed by John Carney, was deemed worthy of inclusion by TIME’s movie buffs, no surprise really given the fact that it has a massive 97% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Lobster, a movie directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and featuring one of Colin Farrell’s best performances, also makes the list alongside the likes of The Jungle Book, Midnight Special and the Russell Crowe/Ryan Gosling comedy, The Nice Guys.
High praise and very well-earned.
