The world lost one of the most popular and influential musicians of all time on Thursday as Prince passed away at the age of 57.
Tributes to the man behind Raspberry Beret, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World and a string of other hits flowed in from around the world on Thursday night and there was even a subtle nod to probably his most famous song of all by Joanna Donnelly on the RTE weather forecast.
