Ah-haaaa!!! There’s a bucket load of new Alan Partridge stuff coming to TV and cinema

A sequel to Alpha Papa has been confirmed.

Alan Partridge may have struggled to get a second series, back in the day, but he’s had no problem securing a second feature film.

A sequel to ‘Alpha Papa’ has been confirmed, while Norwich’s favourite DJ will also film a new series of Mid Morning Matters on Sky Atlantic.

As well as all that, another Partridge special – this time a spoof of the long-running BBC documentary series Coast – will see Steve Coogan’s most iconic creation take a look at the Norfolk coastline.

“We are planning a sequel [to Alpha Papa], yes, that will be great,” said Henry Normal, co-owner of the Baby Cow production company with Coogan.

“We are also looking at doing more Mid Morning Matters and another Sky special, a little bit like Coast with Alan Partridge, except I don’t think he goes out of Norfolk. I think it’s things of interest in Norfolk, that’s the general theme.”

He added: “We start writing now. I think we make it at the end of summer.”
