This summer’s World Cup has been a real success. The interest in the competition and the sport is at an all time high and the quality of the football has been outstanding.
Hollywood being Hollywood, they have noticed this trend and are considering cashing in with a remake of the classic 1981 movie, Escape to Victory. We love that movie so much, the cast is great with Pele, Sylvester Stallone, Bobby Moore, Michael Caine and Ossie Ardiles all making an appearance.
Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman is reportedly in talks to direct the remake. We wonder what modern day players will be cast in the movie, we’d love to see Andrea Pirlo play the role of a vineyard owner who turns the fortunes around of the inmates team, fingers crossed.
