So what horror franchises are there left to be remade/re-imagined/rebooted?

Maybe it was because we took a strange pleasure in seeing those annoying kids from Dawson’s Creek, Party of Five or My So Called Life getting chased by a hook wielding maniac or maybe it was listening to the meta dialogue that de-constructed the horror genre but we can still recall most of the teenage centric 90’s entries.

We vividly remember Scream, The Faculty, The Craft, Urban Legend and Idle Hands but it’s impossible to forget the Jennifer Love Hewitt starring I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Oculus director Mike Flanagan is the man responsible for making sure that a new generation of teenagers get chased by a hook wielding psycho that’s hell-bent on revenge.

Unlike some other film franchises, we don’t mind this one being rebooted up the arse.

The ’97 original and its sequel were hardly classics of the horror genre but they did provide a few decent gory deaths and suspenseful moments.

Flanagan is going to be writing and directing the new film which we have decided to call, I Know What You Did Last Century. Wow that title just made us feel really old.

The original film did feature this amazing cover of Deep Purple- Hush by Kula Shaker. It’s so 90s.
