JOE (very excitedly) meets the stars and director of The World’s End – Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright

Is that a box set of Spaced in our pocket or are we just reeeeeally happy to see them...

To mark the release of the much-anticipated final installment of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, JOE caught up with the stars of the film, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and its über-geek director, Edgar Wright.

Is that a box set of Spaced in our pocket or are we just reeeeeally happy to see them…

The World’s End tells the tale of a group of 5 boozing best buddies who are attempting to relive an epic pub crawl from their youth – 12 pubs. 12 pints.

Meeting up again 20 years later, their attempts to better their youthful feats are slightly scuppered by the fact that there has been an alien invasion in the meantime. That would put a sci-fi spanner in the works alright.

Wright’s Spaced stalwarts Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are back of course, along with Martin ‘Bilbo’ Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan, as well as a whole host of welcome supporting faces – “hello Brian” (Mark Heap).

Banana. Don’t worry if you don’t get it. It’s an in-joke between JOE and The World’s End lads, yeah?
