Generally the flight safety video is the most boring part of long-haul flights. Air New Zealand have found away to alleviate the boredom with their Hobbit-themed video.
The forthcoming film, which is released in December in Ireland, was filmed in New Zealand like the Lord of the Rings trilogy and to celebrate it Air New Zealand have released this video.
It features Hobbits, Elves, Orcs and Wizards all being instructed on flight safety.
The video also features cameos from director Peter Jackson, Gollum and JRR Tolkien’s great-grandson Royd.
The video also allows people all over the world to win a flight to New Zealand to attend the premiere of the film by counting all the Elvish messages in the video to unlock the code to submit on this site.
