Bruce Springsteen has cancelled Sunday's upcoming gig in Greensboro, North Carolina after the state passed a law called HB2. According to Springsteen's statement on Facebook, this law  "attacks the rights of LGBT citizens to sue when their human rights are violated in the workplace." The law also "dictates which bathrooms transgender people are permitted to use." Springsteen acknowledged that there are many forces within the state working to reverse the draconian law - and has added his voice to their numbers by refusing to play in the state for now.
