Noel and Liam Gallagher are reportedly back on speaking terms.
The brothers have been at loggerheads since Oasis split up in 2009 but The Sun report that they are now trying to rebuild their relationship.
It seems that it will be 2016 at the earliest before one of the biggest bands of the '90s and '00s will reform, if at all.
''The mudslinging has stopped but it's very much baby steps for the two as Noel wants to release his second solo record at the end of the year and tour that in 2015," a source revealed.
''Really that leaves 2016 open for an Oasis comeback - it really doesn't seem likely that it would be this year.''
Rumours of Oasis getting back together surfaced earlier this week when Liam spelled out the name of the group - one letter at a time - on the official Oasis Twitter account earlier this week.
However, one man who isn't reading too much into that is former guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs.
Asking what sparked the tweets, Bonehead said: ''Probably the fact that I texted him going, 'Meet me in the beer garden'.
''That probably rattled his cage. Maybe that. I don't know though, because I meet him every f***ing month. Maybe he's just reminiscing.''
