It’s going to be crazy come 9am.

Tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s gig in Croke Park on May 27 go on sale at 9am this morning and to say that they’re in demand would be a dramatic understatement. There were reports of lengthy queues for the Ticketmaster ticket booth in St. Stephen’s Green shopping centre from around 7am this morning, while all around the country, Springsteen fans are anxiously waiting by their laptops and repeatedly hitting refresh in the hope of getting some good news. https://twitter.com/deemcp27/status/697690077842051072 https://twitter.com/SeanyC15/status/697685509217382400 https://twitter.com/RebeccahLouise/status/697680768827572224 https://twitter.com/EoinLuc/status/697680355273412608 https://twitter.com/RudyHellzapop/status/697680344313679872 https://twitter.com/IsMiseDaniel/status/697679613707874305 https://twitter.com/GerardYNWA/status/697676692593229825 https://twitter.com/DeegallMckillen/status/697671202534457344 https://twitter.com/shane_farmer_dj/status/697666393467179009 https://twitter.com/andy_walker13/status/697645900223660032 A couple of million into 80,000 doesn’t go, of course, so we reckon there are going to be an awful lot of disappointed people come 9.10am or so. If you don’t get your hands on a precious pair of tickets then don’t lose heart; after all, he might end up coming to Galway yet…
