It’s going to be crazy come 9am.
Tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s gig in Croke Park on May 27
go on sale at 9am this morning and to say that they’re in demand would be a dramatic understatement.
There were reports of lengthy queues for the Ticketmaster ticket booth in St. Stephen’s Green shopping centre from around 7am this morning, while all around the country, Springsteen fans are anxiously waiting by their laptops and repeatedly hitting refresh in the hope of getting some good news.

A couple of million into 80,000 doesn’t go, of course, so we reckon there are going to be an awful lot of disappointed people come 9.10am or so.
If you don’t get your hands on a precious pair of tickets then don’t lose heart; after all,
he might end up coming to Galway yet…
