Noel Gallagher's efforts during his live gig in Glasgow were right up there as well. The former Oasis star, like the rest of the music world, was left stunned after the shocking news.

Inspired by the capacity crowd in Scotland, the High Flying Birds man led the audience with an extremely emotional version of one of his greatest hits 'Live Forever', with Prince providing the backdrop. This is very fitting.
