You know you're in the doghouse when you're forced to sleep outside with a bottle of beer and a teddy bear. Sadly, that's exactly what happened to this poor lad in the city centre...

It’s never good when the missus sends you off to sleep in the spare room or on the sofa, and it’s even worse if you’re forced to bring your mattress outside into the elements just to catch a few winks. Sadly for a lad somewhere in Dublin, this is exactly what he was photographed doing this morning.

The photos, taken by Karen Margeret Ralph over on Broadsheet.ie, show the unknown bloke having a kip out on his sparkling white mattress with just a bottle of beer and a teddy bear to keep him company.

Now, whether the missus kicked him out or whether it was just un-bear-ably hot in his penthouse apartment, we’re not too sure.

Either way, we’re glad it didn’t rain on the poor guy.
