We just have to share this picture sent to us by photographer Conor Ledwith. Pure class.

Photographer Conor Ledwith has a serious commitment to his art. Last night was bloody freezing but rather than stay by the fire and enjoy the Late Late, Conor set out to photograph the stars over Galway.

As he says himself in his Facebook post, it was on the chilly side but we think you will be glad he made the effort. This star trail picture comprises 154 images taken 30 seconds apart and we have to say it was an hour and 12 minutes very well spent.

As Conor says, the Milky Way was looking gorgeous. We can’t argue. Check out more of Conor's stuff here.
