Conan O’Brien’s speech to the Trinity Philosophical Society was very good as you can see above.

Conan O’Brien was spotted all over Dublin last week having the craic and the Trinity Philosophical Society has released this video of his acceptance speech as their latest Honorary Patron.

The American talk show host felt honoured to be welcomed back to the “cloudy” land of his ancestors, though slightly less delighted to have the Book of Kells constantly shoved in his face.

O’Brien was invited over to speak at Trinity College by their 328 year-old prestigious Philosophical Society on the back of an amazing career as TV talk show host (he also penned The Simpson’s Monorail episode, which, quite frankly, we would have retired after creating something as amazing.)
