It Could Be Worse

Sex shop patrons forced to go in the back passage
A sex shop has had to open a back passage for some of its extra sensitive customers after loud jeers from a pub across the road made them feel bad every time they went in.
Apparently, the door of the adult latex emporium dinged so loudly every time it was opened that it caused the rowdy pub-goers to take the proverbial out of the kinky shoppers. Something which immediately begs the question 'why not just take the bell off the door'?
The shop, in Hertfordshire, England, lies directly opposite The Bull pub. Let's be fair, builders loudly shouting 'wa-hey' at you while trying to subtly enter the den of inequity must be unsettling.
The pub's landlady, Nicola Green, told the Daily Telegraph: "As soon as you open that door it goes 'ding! When that bell goes people in here cheer, so the shop moved the entrance round the side. Most of our customers are builders and you know what they are like.
"I think the shop just wanted something a bit more discreet. Some people are quite open about the fact they go the shop, but others might want to stay a bit more secretive. The lads in here are only having a bit of fun but at least this way it saves their blushes."
The back door has been around for about two years now, leading to a shocking statistic from the sex shop. Three quarters of customer prefer to go in the rear.
