It’s not just Portugal that is having shocking weather, as this crazy photo from Australia shows.

A ferocious thunderstorm has hit the east coast of Australia, with the city of Brisbane plunged into darkness at 11am due to the depth of rain-sodden clouds.

An incredible 10mm of rain fell in 10 minutes while winds whipped up to 70kph. The other major impact of the storm was the lightning.

The main pic shows two strikes hitting the Queensland city but the picture below is even scarier, as an aeroplane narrowly missed getting hit at Brisbane airport.
