The most powerful man in the world’s underwear is being worn by the President of the States.

Okay maybe that’s taking it too far, but David Beckham did bring the Olympics to London and hobnobs with the future King of England and the President of the United States while not playing in the MLS for LA Galaxy.

Also the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama insists that her husband wears the soccer star’s boxers, but before Victoria whips out the pre-nup and everyone starts thinking that high-powered kinky shenanigans are afoot that would put 50 Shades of Grey to shame, it’s a lot more innocent about that.

According to The Sun David Beckham sent 50 pairs of underwear to the President after it emerged that the Obamas were fans of Beck's range of briefs made by H&M.

A source close to the White House said yesterday: “David promised to send a box of his undies to the President — and Michelle has insisted that her husband wears them!”

Obama’s daughters whose soccer matches, the President regularly attends are also big fans of the former Man United and Real Madrid star  “Michelle and the kids think he’s a real hunk.

They all made an effort to meet him when he went to Washington and also hung out with him at a basketball final in LA. In their eyes, the fact their dad is pals with him is good for Barack’s standing.”

Beckham may not have been the greatest footballer of all time but hi influence is everywhere, even down the President of the United State’s jocks.
