Nine year old girl in costume shot as relative thought she was a skunk
Be careful what you dress up as this Halloween, some costumes can be too clever for their own good.

There is nothing quite like fancy dress to add colour and entertainment to a night out, but try tell that to the nine year old girl in Pennsylvania who was accidently shot at the weekend in her skunk costume at a Halloween party.
USA Today reports that a relative of the girl shot her in the arm, shoulder, neck and back when he mistook her from a distance to be a real life skunk.
Chief Ronald Leindecker told the Beaver County Times – what a name for a newspaper – that the man hadn't been drinking and he doesn't know whether charges will be filed.
The girl was flown to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and her condition is unknown.
