Customers at a New York pizza restaurant were treated to a surprise last weekend when they were served by a naked waitress.

The pizzeria in Brooklyn, New York, was its usual busy self at the weekend. What was unusual was the customer service, with one waitress bearing a lot more skin than normal.

According to the New York Daily News, the waitress in question was celebrating her final shift at the restaurant and what a memorable way to bow out.

Wearing just a pair of ankle-high black boots and fish-net stockings, she even had ‘Peace Out’ scrawled on her back. Doubtful she wrote it herself, but that is pure speculation on our part.

She also donned a wig which was apparently in honour of a co-worker. It seems as if it didn't cause as much of a stir for punters as we thought it would.

“We didn't think it was a big deal. This is New York City. Seeing naked people somewhere is normal,” said Vicky Oyombo, who posted the picture on her Twitter account.

She may not have thought it was a big deal, but it has proved more popular worldwide.
