Four out of every five Irish workers feel aggrieved that work colleagues do not pull their weight a new study has shown.

According to today’s Irish Independent, the survey also found that three quarters feel that their bosses do not listen to them when they make their feelings known. the survey was carried out on 341 participants.
Everyone knows the pain of working with people that drive you around the bend, but these high figures released from Peninsula Ireland would seem to suggest that some form of anger management therapy is in order.
Managing director of Peninsula Alan Price he often comes across cases where the employee frequently had a “moan and a groan” but never formalised their concerns about lazy or ineffective colleagues, which can lead to friction at a later date.
“Ensure it is a two-way conversation. Remember that all employees, including management, may well be under pressure at work,” is his main advice for disheartened workers.
