There are some headlines that really capture your attention. This one in Dundalk has just done that, but it really shouldn’t.

A Ukranian man was called up to Dundalk District Court on a charge of theft, though it what he stole, and his reasons for doing so were neatly summed up in the headline.

It turns out that Yun Solod has served in the past with the Soviet Specialist Forces and was described in court as a “colourful character”, and this incident really demonstrated he is mad as a hatter.
So simple, so effective, so utterly ridiculous.
