This weekend in particular will see the consumption of Cadbury’s Crème eggs go through the roof. But did you ever wonder what they would be like in a bigger version?
By Declan Whooley
A topic of conversation in the JOE office over the past week was the merits of a Crème egg the size of an Easter egg and how much one could possibly eat. Thanks to one of our readers, we have seen that we aren’t the only ones to contemplate this.
Pa Maloney has thought about this too and decided to experiment. Using just a spoon and a knife , plus a dollop of motivation – he transferred the contents of the eggs into an Easter egg to kill his curiosity.
Considering the consistency is pretty thick, this must have taken considerable time and effort, and we don’t know if he has held out until tomorrow to sample the egg.

The finished product
Pa posted the message on Cadbury’s Facebook page, asking them to go with a similar design for next Easter.
“If you could please release a larger filled egg next year, it would prevent a lot of grief.... kindest regards Patrick.”
No doubt Cadbury’s thought it was an egg-cellent idea that they have surely considered, while also assuming Pa is some yolk to go to such lengths.
Cheers to Tommy O'Shea for the heads-up.
