On his morning radio programme on RTE, Tubs auctioned off this year's Late Late Toy Show Christmas jumper- and in the process raised €10,000 for St. Vincent De Paul. The winning bid came from an anonymous donor so hats off to the mystery him or her.

The Late Late Toy Show is a bit of an institution in Ireland and a clear marker for the start of the Christmas season. Last Friday's show was watched by more than 1.3 million people, making it the most watched show in Ireland this year.
St. Vincent De Paul is the largest, voluntary, charitable organisation in Ireland. It has a membership of 10,500 volunteers throughout the country who work for social justice and the creation of a more just, caring nation.
