This beautiful shot of the sunrise in Dublin this morning casts the fair city in a lovely light.
By Adrian Collins
When a fantastic shot of the sunrise taken on the Liffey surfaced on our radars today, we were struck by how great Ireland can look when the sun does make an attempt to shine.
It hasn't quite made its way through the clouds yet, but that makes this picture all the more striking thanks to the contrast between the grey and the burst of the sun as it rises on the horizon above the Samuel Beckett Bridge.

We've walked the streets of Dublin ourselves in the early hours of the morning, but we most certainly weren't on our way to an 8am lecture, so fair play to Emma Prendiville for taking it.
