We’ve all been there (and maybe you still are at the minute). You’ve had an absolutely belter night out for a work do/friend’s birthday/after your granny’s wake, but now it’s the morning after the night before and you’re suffering in a big way. You’d absolutely kill for a family pack of painkillers, you’d happily sell your youngest kid for 8 packets of Meanies and you’d swap your precious childhood safety blanket for a McDonalds. We’re thinking two plain double Eurosaver cheesburgers, one large fries, one packet of 6 McNuggets, 2 barbecue dips, one large coke and a medium strawberry milkshake. We haven’t thought about it that much. We swear. The main problem is though you’re just too goddamn lazy to get out of bed and there’s no way your flatmate/partner/supervising officer is going to pop out to the shops to get supplies. Worry no more though because a few lads in Dublin and Belfast have come up with the ‘so simple it’s genius’ idea to provide a Hangover delivery service. The Dublin service will be available on Saturday and Sunday mornings between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm and will provide sufferers with “proven Hangover busters... within the hour,” all for the very affordable price of €5. Similarly, the Belfast-based Hangover busters operate from 10am to 4pm at the weekend and have even got official merchandise like loyalty cards and t-shirts to tie in with the service. What’s not to love? Shift over Dragons because there are some new entrepreneurs in town – the self-proclaimed Hangover Busters.
