Crack out the factor 50-sunscreen as today is set to be one of the hottest days of the year with some parts of the country hitting temperatures of 22 degrees.
According to the lads over at Met Éireann, much of the country will see unbroken sunshine today especially in the south and east. So don’t be surprised if half your office calls in sick today.
There might be one or two small showers in the west and the northwest later on this evening, but they shouldn’t come to much.
Temperatures will range between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius right across the country with the warmer temperatures found in the west and the midlands.
Tomorrow will be much the same, as temperatures will again reach between 17 to 22 degrees Celsius with only a few localised showers out in the west and northwest.
So if you were planning on cracking out the BBQ and deck chairs this year then you’d want to do it this week, but whatever you do, don’t forget to stick on a bit of sunscreen.
