An American DJ has paid homage to a Limerick student after being so taken aback by his unique dance moves.
By Declan Whooley
UL student Danny Whyte was feeling ‘tired and emotional’ after the Christmas Day festivities in Limerick, and decided to perk himself up by creating a distinct dancing set to TJR’s “Ode to Oi” track.
His mates were at hand to capture the dance moves that may, or may not catch on.
Not only did Danny and his mates find the video amusing – and ourselves at JOE – TJR himself enjoyed what Danny had put together when he was tweeted the video. He then put together a shorter version with the music to accompany the track.
With close on 60,000 hits between the two videos, Danny has proved to be a bit of a hit on YouTube, though he was at pains to point out that he is a Tipp native, despite donning a Cork jersey for the video.
Christmas Day must have really taken its toll!
Cheers to Danny for sending the videos this way.
