It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it was a group of air-borne drummers ain Dublin today celebrating the first anniversary of the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
Seven musicians took to the air to celebrate the first year anniversary of Bord Gais’ sponsorship of the Grand Canal Theatre and luckily for all involved, the snow held off and they were able to do what they do best and keep all the passers-by entertained and perhaps slightly confused.
It was a novel idea by the Theatre and will help to drum up (apologies) more publicity and awareness about the top-class facility.
