We're always keen to keep an eye on the Irish music scene and give it a plug, especially if the artist used to be a TD.
By Adrian Collins
Since former Green Party TD Paul Gogarty lost his seat in 2011, he's had more time to concentrate on his music career under his stage name My Sweet Surprise.
And with that time, he has given this new song to the world, called 'Know You All My Life'.
The video has really confused us though, we're not exactly sure what's going on. There are some people in it who look like they could be enjoying the song, but it seems he's also doing a webcast of some description at the same time... Either way, the strange shirt or jacket that he has on is the real winner in this story.
While this isn't the greatest musical effort in the world, we still have to respect him for this exchange in the Dáil a few years back. Now that's unparliamentary language if ever we heard it.
