If you’ve been holding out for a surprise week of sunshine this ‘summer’ then you’re going to have to hold out for a little while longer, because forecasters are predicting another wet and wild week.
Met Eireann is forecasting fairly mixed weather with lots of rain between now and Friday. According to their 5-Day weather report, Wednesday will be the only slightly clear day, however, that’s only the calm before the storm.
Thursday is expected to be the worst of the week with around 2mm of rain falling in most places and up to 10mm falling in the worst affected areas. Temperatures will stay between 7C and 16C for the week and winds are expected to be a bit gusty.
According to the Irish Independent the weekend is expected to bring bright fresh conditions with sunny spells and passing showers. However, if we can barely predict tomorrow’s weather, then we’re not going to get your hopes up for the weekend.
